The Wolf of Baghdad

- a memoir of a lost homeland by The Surreal McCoy

With funding from Arts Council England and Dangoor Education (in memory of Sir Naim Dangoor) I have drawn a graphic memoir that tells of my family’s memories of their lost Iraqi homeland. It is also designed to be shown as a slideshow (motion comic) with its own soundtrack accompanied by musicians playing Judeo-Arabic and Iraqi repertoire.

NEWS! The Wolf of Baghdad will be published as a graphic memoir on January 30 2020 by leading independent UK publisher Myriad Editions.
